1.Who is responsible for your information
This policy explains what personal information Sixstarlimo collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it.
Sixstarlimo is operated by Six Star Limo LLC, 6 McMartin Ct, Jersey City, NJ 07305, United States, which is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy questions and requests should be sent to info@sixstarlimo.com.
Sixstarlimo is a US business based in New Jersey and serves customers travelling in the United States. Which privacy laws apply to a given request depends on where you live; whatever the law requires, we do not sell personal information.
2.What we collect
When you request a journey. Pickup, drop-off and stop addresses; date and time; passenger and luggage numbers; vehicle category; flight number, airline and terminal where an airport is involved; and any notes or special requests you add.
Contact details. Name, email address, phone number and, if you give one, a company name. If you are booking for someone else, the name and contact number you give for that passenger.
When you contact us. The content of your message and the details you include in it.
When you apply to drive with us. The information in the application form: your name or company name, contact details, where you operate, vehicle details, and the current status of your licensing and insurance. The public application form does not ask you to upload identity, licence or insurance documents; those are requested later, through a secure verification step, only if your application is taken forward.
Technical information. Your browser sends standard technical data such as IP address and user agent, which is used to deliver the site, to keep it secure and to rate-limit form submissions.
We do not ask for card numbers, bank details or government identification numbers anywhere on this website.
3.Why we use it
- To arrange your journey: reviewing availability, confirming a price, assigning a chauffeur partner and passing on the details they need.
- To communicate with you: confirmations, changes, questions and answers about a booking or an enquiry.
- To assess partner applications: deciding whether a chauffeur or company is suitable for the network.
- To operate and secure the site, including preventing abuse of the forms.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations where they apply to us.
- To send marketing, only where you have opted in. The opt-in is never pre-ticked and declining it does not affect your booking.
4.Our legal basis
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one), to arrange and deliver the journey you asked for.
- Legitimate interests: operating and securing the platform, assessing partner applications, and handling enquiries.
- Consent, for optional cookies and for marketing messages. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation, where we are required to retain or disclose information.
6.How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet accounting and legal obligations. Enquiries are kept while they are being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards. Unsuccessful partner applications are kept for a limited period in case circumstances change, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Specific retention periods are [retention schedule to be confirmed], as they depend on the accounting and tax rules that apply to Sixstarlimo.
7.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given.
To exercise any of these, email info@sixstarlimo.com or use the contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
8.Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are validated and rate-limited, and access to submitted information is restricted to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we also limit what we collect: no card details, no bank details and no identity documents are collected through this website.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops, particularly once the retention periods marked above are settled, or if we change service providers. Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date at the top of this page.
